At VT Parterapi, you can now engage in online couples therapy – a flexible solution for those who wish to work on their relationship but are constrained in terms of physically attending sessions at my clinic in Allerød.
If desired, a couples therapy course can also incorporate occasional online sessions if you are unable to attend a scheduled session at the clinic. With the clinic's location in Allerød, I cater to clients from the entire local area, including Hillerød and Birkerød. Meanwhile, the option of online couples therapy allows for sessions in the comfort of your own home, regardless of your location.
Is online couples therapy a good choice for us?
Body language, facial expressions, and touch constitute essential aspects of human communication. Therefore, the physical setting will always play a role in therapy. The physical contact and everything that arises between us when we sit in a room together are challenging to replace.
However, recent years have taught us that there can be challenges with physical contact (e.g., due to illness or social restrictions). Perhaps it is also crucial for you to save travel time in a busy daily life. Therefore, I have chosen to also offer online couples therapy. The only requirement is that you sit in front of the same screen, ensuring that the physical connection between you is not lost.
It is always up to you to decide whether we should meet for physical or online couples therapy. However, my recommendation will always be that our first meeting is in person, as I believe it is the best way to get to know each other.
